When ever I can, I tip-toe out in the fresh, quiet morning, and spend time alone with God in nature. The first morning of our trip we were camped by the Clearwater River in Idaho.
The prettiest wildflowers along the riverbank were Bachelor's Buttons, as pretty as the sky is blue.
I knew my family would wonder where I was, but I lingered long enough to make a little watercolor of the scene. I wanted to make a painting every day, but there wasn't time every day for such fun. So I took lots of photos to bring home. I am hoping to paint something beautiful every week this winter, when I can.
